From their letter...
Here we are happily getting settled in Montreal. We arrived last Monday afternoon and have been warmly greeted by all we meet! We went to dinner at the home of the mission president. President and Sister McKinnon are delightful. We visited with Pres. McKinnon and he asked us to serve in the Mount Royal Branch (Mandarin Chinese Branch!)

We taugh with Elders Fairbairn and Mathias teaching a young lady, Lui or Helen. She was baptized last Sunday and was confirmed today at Sacrament meeting. Lui is a student from mainland China.
